Since I feel like I got ran over by a truck, I'll keep this short. Scratch that if I got hit by a truck I'd feel slightly better then I do now.

First Set.....Glenn was in a wonderfully playful mood but still the set was tempered. It featured several spiritual numbers, ...that is..... until the female that was populating the front area vacated, Glenn said "Thank God she's gone" then Glenn livened up and did a couple nice numbers to close the first set and wet our appetites but still, Nothing special......

2nd Set...(this was the big one)
I was giddy with anticipation because of what I thought was about to go down and the vibes that were forming and fortunately I was right...

He opened playing Slide (a first for me) and doing a song I didn't know but TZ informed me that it was, something from the All Star Freak Band and something that Glenn hadn't done in 6 years!!! But that was just the beginning of what was to be a simply spectacular display of guitar playing....A Very very intimate setting of about 20 people huddled in close for the majority of the set, not a girl in sight and when there was one passing within view, she was hidden by the now-schooled crowd and Glenn remained completely oblivious to there presence....At one point I actually asked a Tattoo-laden girl who had come up to the front to go to the back and she did, moreover, she understood!!!!

He was in such a good mood for that second set he did several requests which is unusual..... but the shit really really hit the fan with Promises Promises and then a seamless transition into the most powerful version of Fear and Doom we've heard to date.....But there was More..... My first ever (LAZ. sit back)......WATER STREET.....Then another of my requests "Wayfaring Stranger".all of which were triumphantly played....not sure on the order these occurred but it was Bliss wrapped up in happiness and topped with smiles..................Don't Stay away much longer there is no telling what this man may do next.....Peace
