Last night's show at Hooples was a major cataclysmic event for the
following reasons:

A. Dominic finally made his appearance (and coupled w/Rick Annon, Stak,
Me, Blanco, and a full house, the energy in the air was THICK)

B. Glenn was SOOOO powerful in his final set that the young girl next to
me & White had tears streaming down her cheeks. His final moments of the
night had him laying on the ground, feigning death. (Like he used to do
back in 1999 at the parkview!) Eventually he twitched a few times,
cracked an almost imperceptible smile, and rose back to life.

C. He continues to quote Dylan in large chunks. Last night's take was
from "When He Returns" (Slow Train Comin')

D. At 12:45 he turned to Paul the drummer & said "We've got 15
minutes...what have we got left to play?" Paul shrugged his
shoulders....I then spoke up and said, "Paul, next time Glenn asks
that question, say "Promises, Promises"! Glenn fortunately
overheard this and proceeded to blow the freaking doors off the place
with the first entire version of this song in about 6 years. Holy
crap!!

What a night to not go, Laz!
