O' Brother Where art Thou  11/13/08

Boys,

With Brother McFadden on the kit and Glenn in an absolutely transcendental mood, the boys really put one on us last night…The first set started with Glenn doing some Mississippi Delta style Blues by himself lasted for about 15 minutes and then his opener “Mountaintop” set the tone for what would be the finest set I have ever heard from dear old Glenny….This was an Earth-Shattering set boys, highlighted by kind of version of Promises that we always hope he’ll do, but seldom executes…. it was powerful beyond belief with streams of music that appeared to rip through the very fabric of time and space (yes we got it and yes it sounds balls)….I could go on for days about what a wonderful amazing performance that was but y’all heard it before..If you were there you understand….(some very fine pics even though the size is so small). He played killer all night but was hard-pressed to equal the energy level of that first amazing set…..
